今天的Inspector English节目中，谈到了某词以Y字母结尾，用的是ends in Y，注意这里的介词用in.

The smallest bone and muscle are in the ear.

Emma: Interesting. Where did you get that book?
Pam: I borrowed it from Amy.
Emma: I see. Did you know there are sixty muscles in a human face?
Pam: I didn’t know that.
Emma: It is easier to smile than to frown(皱眉).
Pam: How did you know that?
Emma: I read it somewhere.
Pam: Why is it easier to smile than to frown?
Emma: You use twenty muscles when you smile. But you use forty muscles when you frown.

Emma: Eating fresh fruits and vegetables is important for our bodies.
Pam: Yes, I know. We need a lot of fruits and vegetables so our bodies can stay healthy.
Emma: That’s right.
在本段讲解时，Tom老师用到一句口语you know what,在昨天的对话中，Jack也说到了这一句口语。you know what是“你知道吗”“你知道那什么吗”的意思，一般用在口语中，用来引起别人的注意，为的是说出接下来要说的话。
比如，在今天的讲解中，Tom就说到：Hey, you know what? The kind of meat that we eat should be muscles in animals.

Pam: I should eat a healthy diet.
Emma: Eating right does help my body feel better. Are you also drinking enough water?
Pam: I don’t know. Maybe I need to drink more.
Emma: Our body needs water. About 70% of our body is water.
Pam: Our bodies are so amazing.

Amy: I’m OK. I took a hot shower and it helped.
Jack: Well, then your ears have no problem. I’m glad.
Amy: Thanks for caring, Jack. My ears are just fine.

Amy: Yes. My sister and I have different body types. She is tall with wide shoulders.
Tom: Oh, really?
Amy: But we both have our mom’s mouth and nose.
Tom: My brother and I look different from each other.
本段对话中提供了今天问题的答案，Amy and her sister both have their mom’s mouth and nose.

Amy: Really? What does he look like?
Tom: Well, his hair and eyes are brown.
Amy: You have green eyes and blond hair.
Tom: Right. My brother has long arms and legs.
Amy: Wow. He must be tall.
Tom: He is. He also has a big nose.
Amy: Tom, can I meet your brother? He sounds cute.
在形容人体时，可以说某人长得tall,此时不能用long，但可以用long来形容胳膊或腿。

在单词sketch,watch,catch,match,kitchen等之中，tch中的t都是不发音的。
对于形容“高”的两个单字high,tall.tall一般形容从地面往上的一个高度，用于修饰身高、柜子高、大树高等等。而high一般来修饰所处的位置比较高，比如飞机飞得高、猫站在高高的树上等等。
一般来讲，要形容某人是金黄色头发时，要说blond hair.

Your waist is under your chest. Many people want to have a small waist. waist.腰部
Your legs have two parts. The upper part is the bigger part. It is called the thigh. thigh.大腿
Your knee is under your thigh. Your legs bend at your knees. You use your knees when you walk or run. knee.膝盖
Your ankles are between your legs and your feet. They help you move your feet. ankle.踝关节
Remember all these words whenever you talk your body, then you have word power.
