（Jack
Hello, everyone, welcome to Let’s talk in English right here at The Mall. My name is Jack. How are you feeling today? Are you healthy? I hope so. Well, today we’re going to learn how to talk about feeling sick. It is winter time here at The Mall and many people catch colds in the winter. Catching a cold isn’t very fun. I don’t like to be sick. Do you?
Well, I don’t think many people like being sick, but it’s still inportant to know how to talk about being sick in English. So, let’s begin our lesson.
Here is your Find It Question, The Question is What is Jason sometimes scared of?

Information Desk ( Christina

Conversation A
Pam: Hi, Jason. I need some Christmas gifts.
Jason: I can help you. We have many gifts.
Pam: Are you sick?
Jason: Yes, I have a cold.
Pam: People often catch colds in the winter.
Jason: That’s right. But why?
Pam: Because people stay indoors. That’s one reason. Then colds spread easily.
Jason: That’s true. People stay indoors because it’s cold outside.
Pam: That’s right.

Conversation B
Pam: Do you have to work all day?
Jason: No, I can leave in thirty minutes. Then I will go and see a doctor.
Pam: That’s good. Did you make an appointment?
Jason: Yes, I made one this morning.
Pam: Good for you. Do you like your doctor?
Jason: Yes, but sometimes I am scared of American doctors.
Pam: Why?
Jason: Because I might not understand the doctor’s English.
Jason is sometimes scared of American doctors.

Conversation C
Pam: Sometimes I’m scared of doctors too. I don’t like shots. I hate needles.
Jason: I don’t mind needles.
Pam: But usually, if I have a cold, I don’t see a doctor.
Jason: Why not?
Pam: Well, there’s no cure for a cold. I just rest and drink lots of water.
Jason: But medicine can help.
Pam: And hot soup helps too.

Information Desk
