(Andrea
We’re still talking about time here at the mall. And the title of today’s lesson is Finding Time.
Here is your question: what is Jack doing on Saturday?

Information Desk ( Christina
1、 get off 动词v.
5、 plan on 短语.

Conversation A(在对话中,Emma、Pam、Amy、Jack、Tom、Jason等都会经常出现)
Amy: Hey, Jack. Did you just get off work?
Jack: Yes. I’m heading home in a minute, but I want to ask you about something first.
Amy: What is it?
Jack: How is your schedule this weekend?
Amy: My schedule is pretty free. Why do you ask?
Jack: My mom wants to meet with you.
Amy: She does?
在说get off work时,也可以简化成get off,省去work.

Conversation B
Jack: Don’t you remember? You wanted to take cooking lessons from my mom.
Amy: Yes. Your mom is a great cook.
Jack: Well, she wants schedule a lesson with you.
Amy: That would be great.
Jack: Is Saturday OK for you?
Amy: I think so.
Jack: What’s better for you, morning, afternoon or evening?
Amy: Let me check my calendar.
Jack: OK. Take you time.

Conversation C
Amy: Let’s see. I’m free all day on Saturday.
Jack: Great. I need to check my mom’s schedule. But let’s plan on Saturday afternoon for now.(for now是“目前先暂时”的意思)
Amy: OK.
Jack: If there are any changes, I’ll call you.
Amy: Sounds good. Thanks.
Jack: No problem.
Amy: What are you doing on Saturday?
Jack: I have plans with Tom, but you have plan with my mom.
Amy: I will.
plan on doing something
Jack has plans with Tom on Saturday.

Information Desk
head home回家 head for some place动身前往某个地方
关于schedule的搭配词汇,除了free(空闲), 还有full(日程满满), busy(忙), crazy(忙到抓狂)

Calendar Phrase
When are you free?
How is your schedule . . . ?
How is your schedule this evening?
